IMPORTANT: OUTDOOR USE / CARE NOTICE This item is a blank DIY wood sign made from real wood. It is intended as a base for painting, staining, vinyl, resin, lettering, or your own custom finish. PLEASE NOTE: This sign is NOT weatherproof as shipped. If you plan to use this sign outside, it must be properly sealed before outdoor exposure. Rain, humidity, direct sun, heat, cold, and coastal air can all affect real wood. Recommended outdoor protection: • Use a high-quality exterior-grade clear coat, outdoor paint, marine varnish, spar urethane, or another finish rated for outdoor wood use. • Coat every surface, including the front, back, outside edges, frame seams, corners, and around the hanging hardware. • Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy coat. Always follow the finish manufacturer’s drying and recoat times. • Let the finish fully cure before hanging the sign outside. • Recoat as needed over time, especially if the sign is exposed to strong sun, rain, salt air, or big temperature changes. • Avoid direct ground contact, standing water, sprinklers, and locations where the sign stays wet for long periods. If wood is not properly sealed, it may warp, swell, crack, separate at the joints, discolor, develop mold or mildew, rust around hardware, or cause customer-applied paint, vinyl, or finishes to lift. Best use as shipped: Indoor decor, craft projects, sign painting, vinyl application, resin work, or any project where the customer will apply the final protective finish. DIY Responsibility: This product is a blank DIY wood sign made from a wood frame and backing assembled together. Once it leaves our shop, any painting, staining, sealing, coating, installation, hanging, outdoor exposure, modification, or handling is the buyer’s responsibility. The Boss Factory is not responsible for damage caused after delivery, including damage from weather, moisture, improper sealing, incorrect installation, customer-applied finishes, handling, or modifications.
