What to know before you order

What we have built

This site, thebossfactory.ca, is a self-hosted Next.js store synced with our Etsy inventory, with its own quote flow. CartBrain is a meal-planning and grocery-budgeting app with its own billing and mobile app. AxisForge pairs native apps on Google Play and the App Store with hardware we build. For Valérie Bossé CPA we built a bilingual French and English site for an accounting practice.

Tools for our own shop count too: a browser-based wall plate configurator that sends a production-ready spec into our order queue, a 3D-print quote tool that measures an uploaded model, and Boss-Core, the self-hosted server that keeps it all running.

Receipt Desk is an app we are developing to scan receipts, organize business purchases and prepare clear reports for an accountant. Public availability is coming soon.

Software from a shop that builds things

The same team works on the shop floor and in the code, so our software tends to sit close to real work: a configurator that feeds production, an app that drives a machine, a store that syncs its inventory.

Starting a project

Tell us the platform (web, mobile or desktop), the essential features, and a link to any existing site or code repository. That is enough for a first conversation about scope.

Common questions

What do you need to scope a software project?

The platform (web, mobile or desktop), the essential features, and a link to any existing site or code repository.

Can I see software you have built?

Yes. thebossfactory.ca, cartbrain.ca, valeriebossecpa.ca and the AxisForge apps are all live, and the case studies below describe each one.

Do you build mobile apps?

Yes. AxisForge ships as native apps on Google Play and the App Store, and CartBrain has its own mobile app.

Are you a web agency?

No. We are a fabrication shop that also writes software: the team that builds your site or app also builds physical products.
