What to know before you order
What counts as a custom project
Anything that needs more than one discipline, or something that does not exist yet. Our colour-changing question-block lamp combines laser-cut maple, acrylic panels and an LED module. A whiskey gift set needed a joined wooden box sized and lined to hold glasses and stones without rattling. A replacement topper for a Red Bull gas-pump fridge is wood and acrylic, built to sit on that cooler.
How it starts
Bring the problem, not the process. A sketch, a photo, a broken part or a description is enough; choose “Not sure yet” on the quote form if it does not fit a category. We design it, pick the materials and send a clear quote and timeline.
Like every custom order, a proof or written confirmation comes before production, and the timeline you get with the quote is an estimate, not a guarantee.
What to send
Accepted formats: .png, .jpg, .webp, .pdf, .stl, .step, .dxf
- Whatever you have: a sketch, a photo, dimensions or the broken part.
- The quote form takes up to five files, 10 MB each and 25 MB in total.

Probably. Custom projects are the ones that combine design, fabrication and technology. Choose “Not sure yet” on the quote form and describe the result you want.
What should I send?
Whatever you have: a sketch, a photo, dimensions or the broken part. The quote form takes up to five PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF, STL, STEP or DXF files.
Can a one-off prototype become a product?
It has happened here. Our wireless jog pendant started as a tool for our own machines and became the AxisForge product line.
Do you take custom projects from Moncton?
Yes. The workshop is in Dieppe, a few minutes from Moncton, and serves Greater Moncton. Pickup is by appointment, or we ship and quote the cost with the job.
