The project

Why we built it

Every CNC and laser in the shop used to mean tethering a laptop within reach of the machine. We designed a handheld Bluetooth pendant from scratch — enclosure, PCB layout, and firmware — that talks to GRBL, LightBurn, and Carbide Motion over a paired app on iPhone or Android. It became popular enough with other makers that it turned into its own product line under the AxisForge name.
